Crepes
Following the Meyer lemon cake, I had leftover lemon curd. So I decided to make breakfast with it.

Strangers Reunion
Following my birthday lunch at Senso, I popped by a new cafe that I had been meaning to check out for some time.

Meyer Lemon Blueberry Cream Cake
Ever since I started blogging primarily about food, I've always had a huge interest in food ingredients. One of the things that I've seen before (on many food blogs) was Meyer lemons, which is a cross breed between a regular lemon and a mandarin orange. It was reputedly sweeter than regular lemons, with a much aromatic smell and taste than regular lemons. I wanted it. Yet, I've never seen it before on local shores.
That was until I saw a local food blogger upload pictures of it on Instagram. Want. Much. Need. Now. Many thanks to Pick Yin, I managed to procure a bag of those bright golden orange orbs. Swoon.

Senso Ristorante & Bar
For my 25th birthday last year, I spent a quiet day out (since my workplace had a birthday- off leave). I had a nice lunch at a place of my choice with the Sister, followed with good coffee at a new cafe I was planning to check out, and then finished it off with a decent dinner at a small cosy spot with one of my girl pal.
As I age, I find my expectations for the so called hatch-day evolving. As a kid, I'll be uber excited in anticipation of the numerous presents I was going to receive for my birthday. Now, I'm just thankful for people (whom I know are busy) who take the time out of their busy schedules and gift me with their presence. Thank goodness for these precious moments indeed.

eM & Toby's Estate
I love brunches. It's no secret. It's probably the other cause of why I never ever lose any weight (besides my number one weakness - desserts). I've been trying out a few new places with my friends for the past few months and there were a few hits and misses.
