I wouldn't have known about this place if my friend had not said she wanted to meet there for dinner. It was actually right next door to one of my favourite Japanese restaurant, Himawari, but I had never seen the place before prior to the dinner.

The Singapore I knew as a child did not encourage the arts industry. The era that I had grown up with had the old school mentality that one has to be in the medicine, law, finance sector to be considered "successful". Thankfully, we've since progressed beyond that. Slowly, yes, but baby steps is considered a positive change.

Tiong Bahru area is becoming quite the hippie hangout place to be. Plenty of cafes and dining spots are mushrooming like crazy over there. I've checked out a few cafes around the area (with some more in mind!), and when my friends suggested having dinner at Open Door Policy, I was all game for it.

Wild Honey (revisited)

Wild Honey seems to be a popular dining place among my friends and family members. I've been back there twice since my last post. I met my cousin and a girlfriend for dinner and the three of us ordered four sets. Ooooo, greedy.
