Korea 2014: 코레아노스키친 Coreanos Kitchen

After spending a lovely afternoon just chilling around Garosugil at Sinsa-dong, the girlfriend and I walked over to Apgujeong area for our dinner. The girlfriend and I, we were both Mexican food lovers, and I had noticed that there were several interesting Mexican dining places in Seoul while doing prior research for dinner places.

코레아노스키친 Coreanos Kitchen, 2014

Coreanos Kitchen food menu
Tortilla chips with red and green salsa

The sauces were DA BOMB. Damn addictive and spicy (esp the green one). We polished the chips off easily enough while waiting for our food to be served.

The drinks menu
Coreanos Coronarita

How brilliant is that drink. A mini (squee so cute!) bottle of corona on top of a lime margarita. A perfect sharing drink for ladies. I thought it was darn creative...until a friend pointed out that it's actually available in Singapore too as he had tried the drink before at a bar. Bah. Oh well, it was my first time trying it and I really really liked it.

Pork kimchi nachos
Grilled Shrimp and Braised Pork Belly Tacos

We really enjoyed the food here as everything was just bursting with flavours. Two thumbs up. Oh yeah, and this was also the only dining place we went in Korea that the servers spoke fluent English. Like really good English. A rarity in Seoul man. So definitely a good thing for foreigners who can't speak Korean.

Since I walked to the restaurant from Sinsa-dong, I can't really give good walking directions but it seems like the nearest subway station is Apgujeong Rodeo Station. There's two branches, one in Apgujeong Rodeo, the other in Itaewon.
