I'm sick, but...

Dear Best mate,

The wheezing cough. The knot in the chest caused by phlegm that is stuck somewhere in there. The sniffling. The blotchy skin. Yeps, I have it all.

Yet, a simple phone call with you made me smile and forget I'm sick. The text message that gave me a scare a couple weeks ago, is redeemed by this short phone call with you (oh, the merits of technology).

You don't know how good it is to finally hear your voice, albeit a weak one, after missing and worrying about you for the past weeks. Even though I had people to update me on your situation, they had their own lives too, and it was hard for them to gave me exact updates as frequently as I would have like. I didn't want to bother them, and just asked around discreetly from those who could give me information about you. I'm so sorry that you fell sick, but I'm happy that you are currently on your way to recovery.

I miss you and love you so much dear. By the time I'm back in November, I hope to see a healthy, smiling you.

I think I'm going out a lil too much for my own liking. From next week onwards, I'll try to reduce the number of times I spend outside (excluding Wednesday - Fiona's birthday celebrations) lol. 080808 1st time clubbing in Brisbane! We went Cesars for Reiji Night - a Jap RnB event, so there were alot of Asians (felt like I was back in sg). People were really nicely dressed (not to mention some cuties...haha)

At Ekka 2008! Ekka's an annual event in Brisbane, it's something like a carnival with exp rides, exp food, animal shows, goodie bags (they call it show bags here), fireworks, cooking demos, fashion shows...etc etc.

150808 After my work, joined the River City co for Joel's graduation celebrations. Didn't get pictures from the girls yet. So no pictures up. We had Turkish food at Southbank, his parents treated us! How nice! Then went back to River City and have drinking session. I stayed over at Therese's place cos it was late. I think becos I was tired due to drinks, I behaved in some kinda weird manner that made Fiona and Therese laughed like mad when they helped me remove makeup and contacts. I vaguely remember that Ludwig was calm throughout everything sia. haha. I slept till morning and woke up to go home to go to rest before Strawberry Farm...
