A) People who have been tagged must write their answers on their blogs.

A Month worth of bentos.

I'm back in Brisbane. Gosh. And school starts tomorrow officially. AAArgh. Gotta tune back to school mode. Anyway, got loads to talk about but! First up - remember I said I'll do a picture post soon? Well, this is a sneak preview...of the bentos I've done in my hols back home in Singapore.

I woke up early to do the bentos so dear Sis can bring them to work with her. She's the best Sis ever - drives me around, pays for my expenses (awwwww love love her!), best shopping companion, best entertainer too (you know why Sis! ;D) and okays, list goes way long. So, doing lunch for her is just one way of expressing my thanks to her! The thought of making lunch for her makes me happy hehe. (: (: (:

Without further ado, I present to you the bento pictures I've actually remembered to take. haha. So on average, I do lunch twice a week? -happy- Hope she had enjoyed her lunches too!

Sis lunch: Brown rice, assorted veg, tamagoyaki (yay I bought a tamagoyaki pan from Daiso), pork balls (yay with my new food picks from Daiso - again) and pickles.
Sis/My lunch: Avocado & Egg sushi, beans wrapped in ham, home made gyoza and assorted veg.
This is sis's lunch - with pickles.
And also, more food than me...since she is a working girl (whoops, eh, woman? hurhur) and need more nutrition yes yes? ;)
Sis/My lunch: Soba, rolled omelette/ham/beans and cherry tomatoes.
Rolls.
Sis lunch: Soba, pork balls, gyoza, tamagoyaki, french beans and tomato.
Sis/My lunch: Sanshoku bento and assorted veg.

Sis/My lunch: Inari sushi, stir-fried veg, more veg and dark sauce pork.
Using leftovers from the day before sanshoku bento...

Sis lunch: Wrapped po-piah, stewed pork, veg and a cherry to brighten the picture up! ;)
Last bento for Sis (16/7) before I head back to Brisbane: Soba/pickles, fried chicken, gyoza and veg.

Of meeting random people.

I personally feel that grooming is an important aspect of life. A well-groomed person is not only being responsible towards oneself, it also shows respect for others around oneself. However, there are certain instances exempted that one can slack off a bit without paying too much to detail - heading to the wet market to pick up some clothes that I sent for alteration should be such a case.

Bed hair shoved back with a head band? Checked.
Ratty clothes? Checked.
Oily face? Checked.
Chances of meeting someone you know? Checked checked.

Seriously, what are the chances of meeting someone you know when you're all dressed up to the nines? Let me tell you the answer - it's way close to zilch. Possible, but rare. However, when the situation is flipped, when you're dressed in your drabbest clothes, chances seem to multiply ten folds.

There I was arriving at the alteration shop, and seeing some guy there. Hang on, rewind back, he looks kinda familiar... It's this JJC guy I sorta know who happens to be from my primary school too. I mind my own business, debating the idea of acknowledging the fact that I know him, when he turned and saw me.

Head tilted in the way one does when you recognise someone but doesn't really recall who the person is, he said, "You look familiar, don't I know you?" Talk about severe inward cringing...

So yes, I did own up to being myself (as opposed to adamantly denying and saying that he's got the wrong person snigger) and used the power of imagination to envision myself decked out in anything other than whatever I had on at the moment. During our chat, I found out he's currently studying at Murdoch in Perth! Gosh. Is the whole world heading over to Australia or what. tsk tsk.

Anyway, the ramblings are due to the number of times I've already bumped into different people the past month, at the least likely scenarios I could have imagined. hurhur.

Ending of hols.

Hey and behold, I have just dusted the spiderwebs creeping past the edge of the blog's domain by updating today. *snigger*

Key highlights I remember that took place in the past month as of the current moment:

- HK duh!
- Attending 21st parties for the first time after missing out on so many. Then after attending like one party on average per week, I realise it's kinda a tiring event...for the host and the friends both. Tiring for the host to go around different groups, and tiring for friends cos they have alot of such parties to attend always.
- Lots of eating activities
- Quality time with my loved ones
- I saw my JJ eyecandy snigger. After like 2 years? snorts.

Ah that's all I think of. I have tons of pictures (hundreds) if I would be uploading them...hmmm. I shall see if I have the patience to do so. They're mostly all up on facebook for those who have a facebook account, you'll see them there. I could perhaps just post up all the important pieces here on the blog when I feel like it. Soon soon... ;)

I was basically slacking at home my first week home, in Hong Kong for the second week and after I came back, practically heading out most of the time. Especially the last two weeks leading to my departure to Brisbane, it's like I eat out for lunch AND dinner on some days, and spending consecutive days out that I feel like my house is akin to a hotel, where I go to for some shut-eye time. -.-

Time zooms right past and I'll be taking a Thursday morning flight 1210am (Wednesday 10+pm must reach airport) back to Brisbane. I can't "wait". Sigh.
