Pictures 12

And so I finally add visuals again after a long hiatus. ;)

My aunt loves to make salads since she came back from her healthy food class in the US.
I love how the fruits, nuts and vegetables complement each other so well. It's also visually appetizing. hehe. (:
One of the mahjong sessions with the usual kaki and I got this. DAMN close to 大四喜 lar!!!
I met Adeline for lunch one of the weekdays but I forgot to bring my cam (smacks forehead) so pictures are courtesy of my 2mega-pixel Nokia 7373.
Adeline's lagsana.
Sizzling hot brownie.
19/o2/o8 Sis took day off to go shopping with me hehe. (:
Off we go in the morning for our day out!

Don't you all just wanna go shopping on a weekday morning? When the escalator looks like this? Bliss.
Lunch at Bakerzin. First time there oh! hee.

She'll kill me for this wahaha.
Steak burger. hoho BEEF is so damn yummy. I love beef.
Daddy trying to imitate my sis's face after she drank my peach tea (which was frickin' sour...)
Warm chocolate cake.
Oozing rich chocolate.
Gone within seconds. Literally.
Remember I said I met my love at Muji? Here's a picture of my love. hoho. His family members (I think you know what it means by now wahaha) include this seriously cute set of chopsticks in the casing. Awww. Love at first sight! haha.
Alas, it's $19. Way to expensive to buy for myself...*ahem ahem* Any sponsors? -fluttering eyelids- ;)
2o/o2/o8 Timbre with the girls.

Posing outside SMU. tsk.
21/o2/o8 Kbox and L with Siew. I smuggled in this unagi box for lunch and had to sneak bites in between our singing session cos outside food was not allowed. haha.

It was so hard trying to find the perfect lighting conditions to camwhore, in the end, only these two pictures passed the test. ;)

There was a nail booth at Cineleisure and we stopped to have a look after our movie, Siew then decided she wanted to make some. hoho.

Siew made this set. Lovely isn't it?
22/o2/o8 T3; heading back to Brisbane.

My coffee at 9+pm that so did not help me keep awake during the flight. pah.
Mua's bento: Stir-fry noodles with capcicums+carrots+mushroom+chicken, broccoli, tomatoes, tamagoyaki, store-bought salmon cake.
I met Mua yesterday after my class. I had made lunch so we sat at the Botanical Gardens (right next to my school) to eat. We had a long chat and I skipped the first lecture (which really isn't going to be much anyway) of KJB224 and headed home. lols.
My bento: chicken, tamagoyaki, dried apricots, tomatoes, mushrooms, broccoli and onigiri.
I cut up some fruits (mango, clementines and apple) for dessert (:

My dinner bento today: beef steak sandwich and a side salad.

Bento lunches.

I decided to skip my part 4 pictures to upload and just jump straight to my bento pictures. Haha. For the past month that I've been working, I've been bringing lunch to work everyday hehe. I'm now on a bento craze instead of a baking craze - hopefully the urge lasts me till I'm back in Aus for school. The third week, my sister decided to bring lunch (Mon-Wed), so I decided to prettify lunch so I can take pictures (which also means waking up like at 5plus,6am to make the lunches cos we had to head out at 8am!).

So there you go, Mon-Wed lunches for Sis are shown here, while my lunch on these days are basically identical. I personally feel it's worth it to wake up that early to make lunch, cos I'll be happily sitting in office waiting for lunch time, knowing there's going to be a pretty lunch awaiting me. My colleagues always comment on how healthy I am and my lunches always look pretty (one of them even say my lunch is like airplane food gosh I wonder if it's a compliment of insult as many people always say they hate airplane food lol); of cos, that's yet another perk! ;)

21/1 Sis's lunch: Chicken, vegetables & heart shaped yellow pickles atop brown rice cubes.
22/1 Sis's lunch: Soba noodles, sugarsnap peas+carrots, diced capcisum & panfried salmon.
23/1 Sis's lunch: Egg mayo sandwich, steamed carrots, cucumber salad, chicken sausages & tomatoes. I found a website showing how to cut sausages into shapes so I tried my hand at it. It's so easy and it turned out so cute!!! haha.
24/1 My lunch: Meat patties, steamed broccoli, tomatoes, kabocha pumpkin simmered in honey, brown rice & a cheese wedge.Close up shot of the meat patties. I just basically dumped in a mixture of ingredients and they were v yummy hohoho.
25/1 My lunch: French toast, vegetables & chicken sausages.
Just because I find the "octo-dog" so cute. (:
Side container for 25/1: Pumpkin, blueberries, cheese wedge and a small chocolate.
29/1 My lunch: Fried rice, scrambled eggs with tomatoes+mushrooms+onions, cucumber stuffed chikuwa & honeyed kabocha pumpkin.
Close up of the cucumbers stuffed chikuwa!
30/1 Sis's lunch: Rice burger, broccoli, yellow pickles, tomatoes & cheese wedge.
My first attempt at making rice burger with thinly sliced pork+lettuce = success! hehe.

By the way, my work has finally ended last Thursday. gosh. My boss treated me and two colleagues to lunch on my last day of work - BaliThai at IMM. She ordered quite alot and I was quite stuffed after our 2hour lunch hehe.

So, watched 27 dresses with Sister two Fridays ago and it was not bad. Then last Friday, was supposed to go shopping with Sister but she couldn't take leave last minute, so I spent the whole day reading books I borrowed at the library, and after her work, we rented dvds: The History Boys, She's the Man & License to Wed and went to The Daily Scoop to takeaway ice-cream. Wen and Jia were working and we got a discount on our Earl Grey and Lychee Martini ice-cream tubs. We watched She's the Man while snacking on ice-cream (though it was like raining lol).

My aunt came back from the States on Saturday and got me loads of Reese's confectionery plus a Old Navy sleep pants. hoho! Spent my Saturday baking pineapple tarts for the coming new year (not that I'm a huge fan of these munchies gah) and then watched License to Wed at night.

Yesterday was a bad day. Family matters. -.- I don't feel like talking much about it, so shall leave it just as a bad day. gah. Anyway, went Ichiban Boshi with Sis (yes come to think of it, I'm spending oodles of time with my sister lols) and had a very yummy lunch before walking around town a while. Surprisingly, not many people were in town, unlike on any normal Saturday where town is crammed full of people; literally. Managed to get my Shu Umera mascara like finally, and then we head over to Taka to get some food stuff for baking.

Head home and Sis made melting moments, while I was fiddling around with stuff in my room for some reasons untold. Then I helped her pressed chocolate chips into the cookies when I finally emerged from my room lol.

Went for a haircut just only and I am eating my bento lunch (I decided to make one to eat at home when I woke up this morning lest I resort to eating instant noodles again haha!) in front of the computer. I will meet CSY in town to shop for a while, then Ade Ho will join us to watch The Kite Runner. Can't wait. (:

* Happy 6th B4 Anniversary *
